Ad Deum: Adoration

Not only does the priest have intense moments of adoring Christ in the Eucharist at the altar, but there came up a new one that I had not really appreciated how strong it would be.


At the moment the priest turns towards the people with the Body and Blood of Christ and says, "Behold the Lamb of God," to me it is like the moment the priest raises the monstrance during Benediction to bless the people.

Even the angels kneel at the moment that we hear that powerful word: Behold.


Our response is so very wonderfully correct: "Lord, I am not worthy."
