Fr. John Paul's 5 part series on the Liturgy
Updated: Nov 15, 2018

Perhaps some of you have seen on our social media that I am going to be giving a series of talks here in a few weeks. Beginning on November 8, and going for 5 weeks (except Thanksgiving week) I will be offering a series of talks on the Mass. I am very excited to give these talks, and I hope you can join me for them. Consider this an invitation for every single one of you to join me for these talks.
The Church is very intentional about everything she does in the Mass, and every word, every action, and everything used has great significance that can help us enter more deeply into the mystery which we celebrate. My hope with these talks is to at least begin to scratch the surface of the Mass, helping all of us more fully to participate in the Liturgy of the Church.
Each talk will have a theme, and they will flow together and build upon one another. That being said, I think that anyone will be able to come to even just one and get something out of it. Also, if you’re unable to join us here at the Parish Hall, we are excited that we will be able to live-stream these talk over the internet, so you can join us for them no matter where you are, by just pulling it up on a phone or computer. I hope you will be able to join us for at least one or two, if not all of the following talks. They will take place on Thursday nights, from 6:00-7:30 PM in the Parish Hall.
November 8: Introduction- What is the Liturgy?
November 15: Walkthrough the Mass Part 1: Liturgy of the Word
November 29: Walkthrough the Mass Part 2: Liturgy of the Eucharist
December 6: Liturgical Show and Tell: What are all those things?
