Reasonable
Recently, a few individuals have come to me voicing concerns over some of the changes that we have enacted since July. Firstly, I want to say that I encourage this type of dialog, as it gives both parties a chance to come to a deeper understanding of the circumstances. Secondly and more abundantly here, I wish to give the rationem decisionum (reasoning of the decisions). As the pastor of the Panhandle, the Archbishop, as administrator of the authority of the Church, has placed me to shepherd and care for the spiritual welfare and strengthening in Faith of the peoples here. With this, there are grave consequences for negligence. If I am inattentive to threats, then wolves make off with some sheep. If I am oblivious to what the sheep eat, then they may grow sickly. If I am insensible to where they wander, the sheep may be lost. If I do not direct them, I am careless. If I am careless, then I do not love them. If I do not love them, they are as good as dead.
This the point then: how to direct the flock? Expertly, in accordance with the training and wishes of he who gave me this charge. In one of these encounters as mentioned at the beginning, I was told: “Fr, I guess we have to be obedient;” I responded: “I too, all the more.” This word, “obedience,” comes to us from the Latin: oboedire, which means “from listening.” It is not merely hearing a command; obedience is to really listen attentively and completely in order to properly carry out the will and intention of the giving the mandate. I, for my part, have to be obedient to the Archbishop and the Church; for this reason I dedicate time every week to studying even more profoundly the directions and instructions of the Church. Plainly stated, I might personally even prefer that the Church would do this or that differently, but I don’t always have discretion. However, I have never failed to find, with enough study, the rationem decisionum of the Church. I am not afraid of study; if I do not have an explanation at the moment of why we do something this way or that way, know that I will always to my research. To take a page from Jesus speaking to Thomas, I encourage you, who have questions: to not remain unknowing, but to know.

Recientemente, algunas personas me han expresado su preocupación por algunos de los cambios que hemos promulgado desde julio.
