Mass Times

While we are held, by divine revelation and ecclesial exhortation, to participate in Mass every Sunday and Holy Day of Obligation, we are invited every day to participate in this "most august of all the Sacraments" (LG 11).  As blessed Pope Paul VI says, "the Mass is the most perfect form of prayer!" So, welcome to join us at Mass, available every day.

Adoration

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 2628) speaks of this great and ancient mode of prayer before God:

"Adoration is the first attitude of man acknowledging that he is a creature before his Creator. It exalts

the greatness of the Lord who made us and the almighty power of the Savior who sets us free from evil.  Adoration is homage of the spirit to the 'King of Glory,' respectful silence in the presence of the

'ever greater' God.  Adoration of the thrice-holy and sovereign God of love blends with humility and

gives assurance to our supplications."

The Christian soul benefits even more from applying this prayer of adoration to Christ, present Body and Soul in the Blessed Sacrament.  While this moment of intimacy happens perfectly before any place where the Blessed Sacrament is present especially in the tabernacles, exposition gives the adorer a fuller expression of that intimacy.

"Every member of the Church must be vigilant in seeing that the sacrament of love shall be at the center of the life of the people of God so that through all the manifestations of worship due him shall be given back ‘love for love’ and truly become the life of our souls." (St. John Paul II)

First Communion

A child generally makes the First Communion during the 2nd grade year after having gone through a year of preparation after having received the Sacrament of Confession.

If you are interested in enrolling your child into a First Communion program, email your parish's coordinator.

If you or your child has already passed the 2nd grade and has yet to make the First Communion, please make note of this when you email the coordinator.
